# Submitting a Referral
Referrals are submitted through a public referral form connected to a specific job.
The form includes:
* Referrer details.
* Candidate details.
* Optional CV upload.
* Optional referral note.
* GDPR consent.
**Referrer Information**
The referrer must provide:
* First name
* Last name
* Email
* Phone number
* Referrer type:
Internal
External
The phone field supports international validation and country selection. Candidate Information
The referrer can provide:
* Candidate first name
* Candidate last name
* Candidate email
* Optional resume upload
* Optional referral note
Supported resume file formats:
* PDF
* DOC
* DOCX
* RTF
* ODT
Maximum file size:
5 MB
**Candidate Approval**
After submission, the candidate receives an email explaining:
* Who referred them
* Which position they were referred for
* Which company submitted the referral
The candidate must confirm participation through an approval link.
This ensures GDPR compliance and candidate consent.
