The External Sources report includes key metrics that help you track and analyze candidate application sources. Here’s an overview of the key fields you’ll find:
Stage / External source: The platform from which the candidate applied (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, company career site).
Number of candidates: The total number of applications received from each source.
Conversion Rate: The percentage of applications from each source that moved forward in the recruitment process.
To refine the report for more targeted analysis, you can use the filtering options:
Time period: Select a specific period to see the sources that were most active during that time.
Use the report insights to answer questions like:
Which platforms bring in the highest volume of applications?
Are there sources with high application counts but low conversion rates?
Are certain roles or locations performing better on specific job boards?
These insights allow you to optimize job postings, prioritize the most effective sources, and make informed recruiting strategy decisions.
